Explain, in full detail, your specs like Operating System (Win7/Sierra/etc), Tablet/Cintiq (sku/model), Driver version, software, and cables you're using. Other than that, I think it's a fantastic product for the price (roughly $5-600) and I'm betting they will be on par in 1 or 2 generations.DARK MODE NORMAL THEME Home hot new top RulesĪll posts need to be descriptive, ESPECIALLY technical or compatibility issue submissions. On Huion: I've found the product I tried to be of very good quality, certainly a much higher cost/performance ratio than Wacom, but their pen is a tiny bit lacking compared to Wacom's when it comes to intitial activation (and, imho, only there), it could take 1-2mm before starting to register on a light touch. I agree with your general sentiment, Wacom is not behaving like the leader it's supposed to be according to their prices, that's why I just bought two second hand Intuos 4 L (got the pair for 50 bucks, a steal) and shelved my Intuos Pro, I'm not willing to give Wacom another cent for these products. Other than this I could work with it, until it decided I HAD to have touch on at all times, otherwise it would pester me with endless "touch input on/off" prompts. a jumpy touch ring with the brush randomly getting huge and miniscule, several times in a row - I think this tends to happen when using the touch ring while the pen is on the tablet's surface -, the last gen 8k stylus would randomly make full pressure strokes and go through nibs like they were kitkats so I had to use the old 2k stylus that works as expected and doesn't use nibs that end in 2 days (plus I get to use my beloved springy nib). I've tried a Huion Kamvas 22 Plus for a couple of weeks and I've found the drivers to be pretty much in line with Wacom's, but then again I haven't had serious problems like yours, mostly preferences getting reset and. ![]() If I would buy Huion next, would the same be happening to me? ![]() ![]() Let them know if it worked, say 'thank you', and give them an upvote!
